• Southside Johnny (John Lyon) is best known as front man of The Asbury Jukes, a band that rose to fame in the 1970s Jersey Shore rock scene and is still jamming today. In June 2012 they released a new album, Men Without Women.
• The Poor Fools cover Americana and folk hits by such legends as Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters, and Emmylou Harris, while also revisiting classic and lesser-known Asbury Jukes material.
• Bon Jovi has acknowledged Southside Johnny as a significant influence, citing him as his “reason for singing.”
