  • Dublin native Paul Byrom began singing professionally at age 12 and released his first album 2 years later. His sophomore solo record, Velvet (2005), peaked at No. 2 on the Irish music charts.
  • On his latest album, Thinking Of Home (2014), Byrom explores traditional Irish standards as well as a few American hits, such as “Ireland” by country star Garth Brooks. The release also features 2 songs Byrom wrote himself—a first for his recordings.
  • He is most notable for his stint as a member of acclaimed Irish singing group Celtic Thunder, which he cofounded in 2007. Nicknamed “the Swanky tenor,” Byrom dazzled audiences with his suave stage presence and romantic vocals in singles such as “Remember Me” and “She.”
