  • This Portland transplant is a stand out singer/songwriter whose work spans many genres, from blues and country to folk and rock. She has been performing regularly since age 10, and has appeared with Harry Connick, Jr., Alanis Morissette, and B.B. King.
  • On her sophomore record, All That for This (2013), Bowersox reveals an emotional maturity and depth in her original songs, which includes a duet with The Wallflowers’ Jakob Dylan on a country waltz, “Stitches.”
  • In 2010 she was runner-up on American Idol. During the competition she wowed audience members and judges with original songs and covers of The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, and many others.
  • Bowersox has been cast as one of her country idols in Always…Patsy Cline, an upcoming Broadway production.
  • “Bowersox expertly works the territory between folk and country…her best moments are…subtle, with a touch of twang and fragility.”—The Chicago Tribune
