- Since bursting on the scene in the early 1960s, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons have enjoyed ongoing success driven by constant radio play of their numerous Top 40 hits, including timeless classics like “December 1963 (Oh, What A Night),” “Rag Doll,” and “Stay.”
- The Four Seasons were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, where they were lauded for their “ability to complement spotless Italian-American doo-wop harmonies with the forceful falsetto and three-octave range of lead vocalist Frankie Valli, [and] superb songwriting from group member Bob Gaudio…”
- In 2007 Valli released Romancing the ’60s, his first studio release in 15 years. The upbeat album, which features Valli’s signature falsetto, includes new versions of hits including “Spanish Harlem” and “My Cherie Amour.”
- “Frankie Valli has become one of the hallmark voices of our era. He created a style that we all still try to emulate.”—The Bee Gee’s Barry Gibb, in Rolling Stone
