One of the world’s most famous rock sensations joins “the last of the great bluesman” (Telegraph) to showcase their unmatched guitar talent.

  • Frampton, the famed British rocker behind megahits like “Baby, I Love Your Way,” and “Show Me the Way,” is a smoking guitar player known for using a talk-box effect.
  • On his Guitar Circus tour, Frampton will celebrate the six string by featuring fellow guitar legend B.B. King. Each night, Frampton’s set will be recorded and subsequently sold in digital format.

  • In 1976 Frampton released Frampton Comes Alive!, which became the best-selling live album of all time. To celebrate the seminal recording’s 35th anniversary, Frampton embarked on a world tour, which was recorded on a DVD/CD, and he played at Wolf Trap.

  • In 2010 Grammy-winning Frampton released Thank you Mr. Churchill, a historically themed concept album: “Frampton has wound up with a heavy progressive rock record, roiling with dense riffs, segmented songs, and winding blues jams” (AllMusic.com).
  • The thrill is never gone for B.B. King, who has been reigning as America’s blues patriarch for more than half a century. The legend still takes the stage an average 250 times a year with his beloved guitar, Lucille.
  • King has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame, and was ranked No. 6 on Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Guitarists list. His 2008 album, One Kind Favor, won the Grammy for Best Traditional Blues Album, which marked his 15th Grammy win.
