$30 lawn; $48 in-house

Folk-rock music icon Jackson Browne hits the Wolf Trap stage for an evening of popular hits and new tunes from his most recent album, Time The Conqueror. Browne made his humble beginning in California folk clubs before hitting the national scene in the ’70s. His debut album produced a major hit, “Doctor My Eyes,” which reached Billboard’s Top 10. Browne’s next three albums all reached platinum status, including Running on Empty, which went platinum seven times on the strength of the title song single. Browne’s interest in writing about personal plights and social unrest added to the depth and inspiration surrounding his songs. Today Browne, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, is still writing compelling lyrics that focus on current events and continue to draw fans worldwide.

From composer Carl Orff comes Carmina Burana, a classic choral performance, later adapted into film by the famed Leopold Stokowski.
