Multi-platinum selling Italian pop icon Elisa makes her Barns debut on Tuesday, November 4, followed by Battlefield Band with their unique mixture of traditional and contemporary Scottish music on Wednesday, November 5. “Superharp” James Cotton arrives for only his third Barns appearance on Thursday, November 6, followed by pianist Jeremy Denk on Friday, November 7 as part of Wolf Trap’s enduring Discovery Series. Renowned pop singer, actress, and composer Melissa Manchester jumpstarts the weekend on Saturday, November 8, relinquishing the stage to the week-ending duo of Chad & Jeremy with their nostalgia infused folk-rock hits on Saturday, November 9.

Celebrating his 64th year as one of the entertainment industry’s most influential performing and recording artists, Cotton’s career can be characterized and canonized through wildly energetic performances complete with back flips and broken harmonicas, multiple Grammy nominations and one win for Best Traditional Blues Album, and an integral role alongside the legendary Muddy Waters in the Muddy Waters Band.

Returning to The Barns for the third consecutive year, British pop icons Chad & Jeremy have welcomed an extremely busy fall with the October release of ARK-eology, featuring all new versions of their greatest hits, and a slew of east coast tour dates. Barns patrons will have the chance to preview live versions of all new material from Zanzibar Sunset, their forthcoming 2009 studio release and first in over 25 years. In addition to new record releases and consistent touring, the duo plans to release a documentary in 2009 titled Yesterday’s Back.
