What:

“Islands of America,” the 2008 Wolf Trap Ball, welcomes nearly 800 business, cultural, and government leaders from across the country for dinner and dancing on the Filene Center Stage at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.

Every year for the Wolf Trap Ball, the second largest theatrical stage in North America is transformed into a magical and stunning space, representing a different country from around the world. This year’s ball celebrates the islands of America and their rich cultural and natural beauty. The tribute will feature breathtaking sets and decor, transforming the stage into a reflection of the diversity of the islands’ landscapes and heritage.

Funds raised by the 2008 Wolf Trap Ball support Wolf Trap’s Arts and Education Programs, including the Wolf Trap Opera Company and the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts.
