The Wolf Trap Foundation was named an honorable mention winner of the 2005 Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management. This award recognized Wolf Trap’s best practices in financial management, information and communication, organizational development, resource development, human resources, risk management, and use of technology.


Wolf Trap Featured in WashingtonianNOVEMBER, 2003: Wolf Trap was featured in Washingtonian magazine as one of the 50 Great Places to Work in the metropolitan area. Wolf Trap was chosen because of our "interesting work, good benefits, collegial staff, stability, employee development, and community involvement" and was the only arts nonprofit organization featured.


Wolf Trap won the Companies As Responsive Employers Award in the Small Business Category from Northern Virginia Family Service. The CARE Award recognizes companies that provide family-friendly workplace benefits and environments for their employees. Businesses are evaluated on the quality and the scope of their programs through phone interviews and an intensive on-site visit.
