Private lessons are designed to cater to your needs and experience with a focus on increasing technique and musicality. Taught in Wolf Trap’s comfortable, state-of-the-art practice rooms, lessons at Wolf Trap will build your confidence so that you will be jamming with your friends in no time!

Lessons will be scheduled at the mutual convenience of the instructor and student and will be held on Mondays, February 4 – April 29.
Classes are not interchangeable.
Participants can only attend their registered class.
Space is very limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
All classes are held at the Center for Education at Wolf Trap Foundation.

Instructor: Bill Burke
Bill Burke is a performer, composer and educator. With degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Utah State University, and George Mason University, Bill is Chair for the Performing Arts and Director of Guitar Studies at Centreville High School where he established and runs a full 4-year guitar program. He is on the faculty teaching guitar at the College of Southern Maryland; he also teaches local community classes and private students. Bill is a member of the Teaching Guitar Workshops task force, a national organization that offers graduate credit to instruct classroom teachers how to teach and begin guitar programs in their schools; his articles appear on the TGW website. As a composer and multi-instrumentalist Burke has released several CDs available on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, etc. and performs solo and with several groups.
