Thank you for joining us on Friday, March 19, 2021 for an exquisite evening of voice and vino, all in support of Wolf Trap’s arts and education programs! Your support of this first-of-its kind fundraiser enables us to provide valuable performance opportunities to our community, something that is even more important as Wolf Trap prepares to celebrate our 50th Anniversary season this summer.
A traditional wine tasting is an exploration of sight, smell, taste, and touch. Only one sense is missing: sound. Wolf Trap is proud to present an extraordinary evening of delicious wines paired with stunning voices of Wolf Trap Opera alumni. Guided by a sommelier, enjoy three curated wines paired with lush and fun performances and more.
Your sommelier for the evening, Matt Burns, will lead guests live through wine tastings and arias. Matt is an internationally acclaimed bass-baritone with a passion for wine, and his tasting concerts explore how perfectly the language of wine tasting relates to the classical voice.
Your participation benefits Wolf Trap Foundation's arts and education programs, which have continued virtually during this challenging time, and will forge ahead creatively as we prepare for our milestone 50th anniversary later this year.
Featuring Wolf Trap Opera Alumni:
Summer Hassan, Soprano
