A cast of powerhouse performers, including Grammy Award winner Cynthia Erivo, internationally-acclaimed soprano Christine Goerke, and extraordinary pianist Joyce Yang set the stage in a 50th anniversary celebration of multi-genre entertainment led by JoAnn Falletta and the National Symphony Orchestra. Recalling Wolf Trap’s historic opening, this evening pays homage to the vision and legacy of founder Catherine Filene Shouse, which forever changed the performing arts in Northern Virginia.
