Immerse yourself in the sweeping drama of Dvořák’s “New World” Symphony, an epic work radiating the composer’s grand vision for American music. Dynamic conductor Ruth Reinhardt leads the program, which also features Tchaikovsky’s fearsomely difficult Violin Concerto performed by Gil Shaham—“the outstanding American violinist of his generation” (Time Magazine).
