Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts Elects Six New Members to its Board of Directors

Business Leaders and Arts Philanthropists Elected at Annual Meeting 

Vienna, Virginia (February 12, 2016) — Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announces the appointment of six new Members to its Board of Directors. The new Directors were confirmed during the Foundation’s annual meeting February 11, 2016. Joining the Board are:

  • C.E. Andrews, Chief Executive Officer and member of Board of Directors, MorganFranklin Consulting, Vienna, Virginia
  • Lynn R. Dillon, McLean, Virginia
  • Nancy Laben, Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary and Executive Vice President of Booz Allen Hamilton, McLean, Virginia
  • Terri McClements, Managing Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Clifton, Virginia
  • Dion Rudnicki, Vice President, Government Solutions Global Government Industry IBM Corporation, Bethesda, Maryland
  • Mark A. Simione, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and Treasurer, Noblis, Potomac Falls, Virginia

The new Directors join a Board of business leaders and arts philanthropists serving under the leadership of Wolf Trap Foundation Board Chairman Daniel A. D’Aniello of the Carlyle Group. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the overall health of the nonprofit organization, providing fiduciary and business oversight to support Wolf Trap Foundation in its mission to present and create excellent and innovative performing arts experiences for the enrichment, education and enjoyment of diverse audiences.

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, produces and presents a full range of performance and education programs in the Greater Washington area, as well as nationally. Wolf Trap features three performance venues: the outdoor Filene Center and Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, both located at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, and The Barns at Wolf Trap, located down the road from the national park and adjacent to the Center for Education at Wolf Trap. The 7,028-seat Filene Center is operated in partnership with the National Park Service and annually showcases an extensive array of diverse artists, ranging from pop, country, folk, and blues to classical music, dance, and theatre, as well as multimedia presentations, from May through September. The Barns at Wolf Trap is operated by the Wolf Trap Foundation year round, and during the summer months is home to the Grammy-nominated Wolf Trap Opera, one of America’s outstanding resident ensemble programs for young opera singers. Wolf Trap’s education programs include the nationally acclaimed Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, a diverse array of arts education classes, grants, and a nationally recognized internship program.
