Bringing arts-integrated learning to communities across the U.S. and around the world

Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts works with nearly 100,000 children, educators, artists, administrators, and policymakers in school districts across the U.S. and around the world every year.

We replicate our model at the local level through affiliate organizations, customizing strategies and best practices to meet the needs of each school and classroom. Wolf Trap affiliates include a mix of arts education organizations, theaters, and performing arts centers—all dedicated to arts in education.

Wolf Trap Institute also partners with school districts and professional organizations to promote and research art-integrated learning in early childhood education. In partnership with Fairfax County Public Schools, for example, we conducted a four-year study which found that students whose teachers participated in Wolf Trap programs received the equivalent of one month of extra learning in math.
