ARTISTIC ADMINISTRATION
Learn what it takes to produce opera and classical music as an administrator. You will assist Wolf Trap Opera and Classical Programming in the preparation for the summer Opera season and daily operations of the department, which include:
- Generate social media content for Wolf Trap Opera channels
- Assist with travel/lodging and artist communication for the annual audition tour
- Assist with the Chamber Music series at the Barns
- Assist in the maintenance of the Music Library
- Research alumni of WTO an update alumni database accordingly
- Manage Opera and Classical Programming databases (Filemaker)
Requirements
- Interest in pursuing a career in opera or classical music administration
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and Publisher)
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Arts Administration students (or related area of study) preferred
