Vienna, Virginia (March 19, 2024) – Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts today announced additional Summer 2024 Filene Center performances and the Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods summer season at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. 

Newly announced performances include:

  • Legends hit the Filene stage with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Daryl Hall + Elvis Costello (July 25); the Who’s Roger Daltrey, joined by KT Tunstall (June 12); and Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio with the National Symphony Orchestra (June 25).
  • Enjoy Indie royalty with acclaimed singer/songwriter Beck and the National Symphony Orchestra (July 27); and super groups The Mountain Goats and The New Pornographers (Aug. 4).
  • Return to the ’90s with Hip Hop and R&B powerhouses TLCEn Vogue, and Jody Watley (July 5) and The Roots with Digable Planets and Arrested Development (Aug. 31).
  • Croon under the stars this summer with country icon Clint Black (July 3) as he celebrates the 35th anniversary of his award-winning debut Killin’ Time and a night with country string sensation Old Crow Medicine Show (Aug. 30)
  • Watch stage and screen star Ben Platt (June 23) bring his celebrated Broadway vocals to the Filene Center.
  • Considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, Nas commemorates the 30th Anniversary of Illmatic with the National Symphony Orchestra (July 21).
  • Rock icons return all summer long with folk pop-rockers CAKE (Aug. 2); and jam rockers Blues Traveler with Big Head Todd and the Monsters (Aug. 23)
  • New wave makes a comeback with Crowded House (Sep. 3) and Squeeze + Boy George (Sep. 10).
  • Spend a night at the movies with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ Part 1 in Concert with the National Symphony Orchestra (July 24) and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music Sing-A-Long (Aug. 16)
  • Local superstars Virginia Coalitionemmet swimming, and the Pat McGee Band join forces for NOVA Nite (Aug.7)
  • Wolf Trap’s Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods returns with a seven-week season featuring the best in children’s entertainment.

Alongside the Filene Center summer season, Wolf Trap also presents performances for children and families at Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods (CTITW). Families can spend summer mornings with children’s performers showcasing the best in music, dance, theater, puppetry, magic, and more! Performances take place Tuesday through Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM, June 20 through August 3. 

Tickets for previously announced performances are on sale now. Tickets for all newly announced Filene Center and Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods performances are available to the public beginning at 10 AM on Friday, March 29.

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, produces and presents a full range of performance and education programs in the Greater Washington area, as well as nationally.
