Gaby Moreno
Since leaving her native Guatemala for Los Angeles, Grammy-winning singer/songwriter and producer Gaby Moreno has released nine albums. Her accolades include a Grammy Award for X Mí (Vol. 1) (2023), Grammy nominations for Alegoría (2022) and Illusion (2016), and two Latin Grammy Awards. She earned an Emmy nomination for co-writing the Parks and Recreation theme song and has shared stages worldwide with artists like Bono, Andrea Bocelli, Tracy Chapman, and Buena Vista Social Club.
Moreno’s versatility extends to TV and film, where she voiced Marlena and performed the theme song for Disney’s Elena of Avalor, contributed to Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, and wrote “El Saber” for the acclaimed film Radical. Her work as a producer on Omara Portuondo’s VIDA earned her another Latin Grammy in 2023.
Her latest album, Dusk (2024), released via Cosmica Artists, features a collaboration with Oscar Isaac on “Luna de Xelajú,” honoring their Guatemalan roots.
