Parking

Parking at Wolf Trap is free but limited. Come early or carpool. For information on parking for patrons with disabilities, please call the National Park Service at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts: 703.255.1820.

If you’re bringing a bus to the Filene Center, be sure to arrange special parking by calling 703.255.1800.

Metro to the Filene Center

The Wolf Trap Shuttle, operated by Fairfax Connector, offers roundtrip service from the McLean Metro Station (Silver Line) to all Filene Center summer performances.

How it Works:

  • Fairfax Connector Route 480, the Wolf Trap Shuttle, is provided for all performances at Wolf Trap’s Filene Center during the summer season.
  • Bus service begins 2 hours prior to showtime and runs approximately every 20 minutes. The last bus from McLean Metro to the Filene Center departs at showtime.
  • Return trips depart Wolf Trap’s Filene Center 20 minutes after the performance ends, but no later than:
      • 11:15 PM Sunday–Thursday 
      • 12 AM Friday–Saturday
  • Parking at the McLean Metro Station is available at 1835 Capital One Drive in the Wegmans & Retail Parking Garage. Parking rates are listed on the map below.
Wolf Trap Shuttle Cost:
The Wolf Trap Shuttle’s round trip cost is $5 cash, $5 SmarTrip®, OR $3 SmarTrip® with rail to bus transfer. 
*Bus service is not available for performances at The Barns at Wolf Trap, Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, or the Holiday Sing-A-Long at the Filene Center.
Please check the WMATA website for planned track work and any maintenance that may impact your travels.

Rideshare & Taxi Drop-off

Wolf Trap’s Rideshare and Taxi drop-off and pick-up area is located in the pull-off area on the west side of Trap Road, opposite the Filene Center entrance. For safety reasons, do not attempt to cross Trap Road. Please use the underground Pedestrian Tunnel to access the Rideshare and Taxi drop-off and pick-up area and when going to or from the Filene Center.

Note: Route 267 (Dulles Toll Road) requires drivers to pay a toll. For toll rates, visit MWAA's Dulles Toll Road website.
