Our Mission

The Wolf Trap Young Professional Society brings together emerging leaders, primarily aged 21-39, from all industries. Members take an active role in enhancing the greater Washington metropolitan area’s cultural scene while fostering their knowledge of, and involvement with, the performing arts. WTYPS seeks to create an environment where young professionals can volunteer, network, socialize, host special events, and work towards the common effort of supporting the Wolf Trap Foundation and its multifaceted array of artistic, education, and outreach programming. Events are held at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, the Center for Education at Wolf Trap, The Barns at Wolf Trap, and at a variety of other locations throughout the greater Washington metropolitan region.

Jellicle Cats Come Out Tonight.  Jellicle Cats Come One, Come All!  Join Wolf Trap Young Professional Society and The Washington Animal Rescue League for a special debut celebration at DC’s hippest new nightspot – Dirty Martini, brought to you by the owners of Fur, Tattoo Bar, and Midtown Loft.  Be among the first to party at this new hotspot as you enjoy uniquely-themed cocktails and drink specials.
 
Raffle prizes include tickets to CATS at Wolf Trap and The Washington Animal Rescue League’s Rescue Me Gala!
 
*All proceeds will jointly benefit Wolf Trap’s arts and education programs and the League’s initiatives to help cats and dogs in its state-of-the-art shelter and medical center for low-income pet guardians who are unable to afford veterinary care.
