The National Symphony Orchestra has made Wolf Trap its summer home ever since the venue opened in 1971. The NSO is of the finest and, through its summer holiday PBS performances, most visible orchestras in the country. Its performances range from bold new works, to beloved favorites, chamber music, original educational programming, through to innovative pops programming in almost every genre. Emil de Cou is the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap Conductor.
